I appreciated reading this book。

。。。more

It felt like reading the Shopping Channel & 100 Huntley Street wrapped together in a repetitious, highly questionable drone。 From the creepy frankness he has when using rape as a comparative tool, to his cute rebranding of NLP, it’s clear why people don’t care for his culty bullshit。 Save yourself the karmic taint and learn these skills from someone who doesn’t have sexual assault allegations against them。

Hannah Abernathy

I didn’t find it applicable。

I listened to the audiobook and it was absolutely life-changing! It completely switched my whole mindset so quickly! Also, do the brainstorming he asks you to do on a piece of paper and pencil。 It really helps, tremendously!

Christina Leivaditi

Good insight, but unnecessarily long。 Definitely check out the abridged audiobook version if you're looking for the biggest bang for your buck! Good insight, but unnecessarily long。 Definitely check out the abridged audiobook version if you're looking for the biggest bang for your buck! 。。。more

A simple message but one that works if followed。This is a basic book that encourages action, focus change, and following goals。 Although those messages are basic, they are true and told in a way that motivates。

I love Tony Robbins and what he does。 I regularly watch YouTube videos of him to help keep me motivated。 He’s a great inspiration and I hope to one day be able to go to one of his seminars。Having said that, I just couldn’t get behind this book。 Someone in the reviews said it reads like one long infomercial, he constantly advertises his other books and seminars on what feels like every other page, and he comes off as arrogant, gloating about all the things he owns and all the things he’s done。I f I love Tony Robbins and what he does。 I regularly watch YouTube videos of him to help keep me motivated。 He’s a great inspiration and I hope to one day be able to go to one of his seminars。Having said that, I just couldn’t get behind this book。 Someone in the reviews said it reads like one long infomercial, he constantly advertises his other books and seminars on what feels like every other page, and he comes off as arrogant, gloating about all the things he owns and all the things he’s done。I feel these are all accurate statements to make about this book。 Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of good information in this book。 But the book could be about half its size and still have all the important stuff in it。 (Does there really need to be an entire chapter on asking the right questions?) Sometimes, less is more。 The book is also pretty dated (he talks about how internet and computers are a new thing and could possibly really take off)I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I was hoping the book would motivate me enough to change a few big things in my life that need changing。 And it just didn’t happen。 Oh well。 On to the next self-help book。 。。。more

Incredible sets of fundamental theory that I believe to be the footing of emerging self help books。 Would love to come back time and time again to reinforce the lessons packed in this book 😊 Relatively verbose but I’m so glad I have decided to read (or listen to at times) it anyways, so good that I’m putting off other self help books in queue 🤍

Overrated。 Way too much fluff and unachievable goal setting strategies。

My favourite book of his so far

It wasn’t my cup of tea。 It’s not a bad book。 If you love Tony Robbins teachings, this book is for you! This is literally a written format of what he teaches。 It just wasn’t for me。 I didn’t understand the majority of the stuff。 Some chapters were redundant or unnecessary。 If I were a tony Robbins fan, I would have given this 5 stars, but I’m not 😅

Aiyana Aponi

An okay book。

I discovered this in my 20s and loved it to much。 For some reason, 15 years later, it feels lacking。 Maybe because there are many more self help authors on the market? His material felt so much more substantive in the past。

Nice quick kick up the arse

Tony Robbins doing his Tony Robbins thing。 He is always great for inspiration and motivation。

I'm sure Tony would probably call me lazy but I found it to be a hard read。 The content is great and works。。。but everything is broken down into several steps with several parts and kind of lost me。 He means well, and is very inspiring。 The lives he's helped change and impower is a blessing。 I found that the law of attraction books were an easier grasp and yeilded fast results。 Try Abraham Hicks or The Secret。 You have more control over your life than you realize。。。you just need to step back and I'm sure Tony would probably call me lazy but I found it to be a hard read。 The content is great and works。。。but everything is broken down into several steps with several parts and kind of lost me。 He means well, and is very inspiring。 The lives he's helped change and impower is a blessing。 I found that the law of attraction books were an easier grasp and yeilded fast results。 Try Abraham Hicks or The Secret。 You have more control over your life than you realize。。。you just need to step back and connect the dots。 If you can hold it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand 。。。more
